Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use snsotp.com, the console and the API. By creating an account you agree to them.

The service

SNSOTP sells one-time numbers for SMS verification. Each order is one phone number for one service in one country, with a 20 minute window to receive SMS codes. Prices are fixed per service and country and shown before you order.

Account

Your account is one access token made in your browser at sign-up. We store only a protected form of it. Keep it safe: anyone with the token can use the account, and a lost token cannot be recovered.

API keys

API keys act for your account and spend its credit. Keep them out of public code and replace a key at once if it may have leaked.

Credit

• You pay for orders from prepaid credit, added through the checkout in the console.
• Credit is not paid out and has no cash value outside the service.
• Orders without a code are refunded to credit as described in the refund policy.

Acceptable use

Use numbers only for lawful sign-ups, tests and checks. Do not use them for fraud, spam, harassment, or to break the terms of the service you verify. We may close accounts that do.

Limits

Up to 20 open orders per account and 300 API requests per minute per key. Numbers come from mobile networks, and a service may decide not to send a code; in that case the refund rules apply.

Changes

We may update prices, the list of services and countries, and these terms. Changes apply from the date shown on this page; orders already placed keep their price.
